The best in town! Owners/vets are SO nice and take time to explain things so clearly. Their pricing is great – we take both our dogs here. Also love the setup of the building and nicest receptionists!
They were able to work my boxer dog in at very short notice and got him the care he needed. The doctor was very clear and easy to understand while explaining his diagnosis and treatment plan to me. When transferring us to an emergency clinic, the staff took the time to get his IV started and prep two bags of fluid to save me money. Their prices are definitely affordable and their customer service is exemplary!
This place is THE BEST ! I called worried about my ten year old dog because he had been shaking, couldn’t walk, and panting. They immediately answered, got my info, and said bring him in! While on the phone I was crying and very upset but the wonderful receptionist was very calming which is a huge deal for me!!!!!!! We got there and saw someone as soon as we stepped inside. They were so gentle and personable with my lil old man, even sitting on the floor with him so we didn’t have to put him on the table. My dog usually gets very scared and will not sit still for a vet visit, so the fact he was so comfortable with the staff and atmosphere was amazing ! They got him all fixed up and they even called back to check on my dog ! I never will take my animals anywhere else.
My wife and I were in a pickle to get our dog vaccinated so that he could be boarded. They didn’t take advantage of our situation with a high medical bill. We were in and out quickly and cheaply! $13 for a rabies shot. Nurses obviously loved and cared for our dog, too. Great folks!

I appreciate the convenient extended hours, competitive pricing and extremely comprehensive and compassionate medical care. The facilities are super nice and modern (free snacks and refreshments in the lobby) and they always get us in and out quickly.

We love RVAH for our cat and dog! We also appreciate the care they took of a stray that came our way and needed immediate attention. They were amazing. Highly recommended!
River Valley Animal Hospital has always been fantastic. I have an unusual cat. He’s has terrible anxiety and it shows up as aggression on everyone.

Staff was very friendly and caring. Very grateful for this clinic because when our pup got attacked by another animal on new year’s eve, our options were very slim due to the holiday. They helped ease our minds by keeping her overnight for 24 hour watch and used the medicines that were already prescribed earlier by her vet, in order to help us save some money. They allowed us to call several times and check on her and the staff was always friendly about our numerous calls.
Dr. Rachel took such great care of our Ziva when she was having seizures. Her and the whole office are kind and compassionate. Dr. Trevor was there when we finally had to send her on. They could not have been more kind at such a difficult time……❤
This place is outstanding! My cat was having some issues and I took him here to get checked out. I knew things were bad and was not expecting good news so the moment I walked in I started crying. The receptionist was very comforting and took me to a private room where we could visit without others hearing or seeing me. From that moment, the entire staff was very kind, patient and caring towards me and my Radar. They were upfront with all of the costs and explored every option with me, which gave me comfort in knowing I made the best decision for him. Unfortunately, we had to put him to sleep. They gave us as much time as we wanted with him in a private room to enjoy our last moments together. And less than a week later, I received a handwritten card from the staff at RVAH and a “plantable paw” that will sprout flowers to remember him by! I will always be appreciative of this place!
